Chand Baori: Moon Well ,some say that it is the most photographed Stepwell in India though not exactly on Golden Triangle route but for those who are interested can make that detour. Many in today's time may wonder about the utility of constructing such Stepwells in those times. But in a land which has a precident of recieving limited rainfalls and having no major rivers , constructing Stepwells and artificial water reservoirs was the only way to conserve rain water.
