A BEAUTY SPOT IN THE HEAVEN ON EARTH ~ A turquoise blue boomerang shaped clean water lake on the #MalanaGlacier, #HimachalPradesh. During May 2019 we had explored a new route connecting #Jagatsukh with #ToshVillage, via Deotibba Base Camp, climbing Deoangan Col (5281 m), crossing Malana Glacier and finally crossing Animal Pass (4760 m), during our DEVANGAN EXPLORATION, MAY 2019. There was no trace of water in this completely snow covered route, and suddenly while crossing Malana Glacier, we could find this lake, semi frozen. Had the opportunity to quench our thirst for the day, and moved on to climb towards Animal Pass on the left side. And in front is seen Ali Ratni Tibba peak and the next left gully opens up as Tosh Pass, to Tosh village. This exploration was an unique one, as, there is no records of the connection of this route even with Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), New Delhi. The Govind Dev temple is one of the oldest temples present in #Vrindavan. The temple was built by Raja Maan Singh in the 16th century following an indo-islamic style of architecture which was prevalent at the time. The idol once enshrined here has a deep significance and was excavated by saint Chitanya Mahaprabhu’s disciple, later to be moved to a temple in #Jaipur for safety where it is present today. #SoundararajaperumalTemple is a temple dedicated to the #HinduGod, Vishnu. It is located in #Nagapattinam, a town in the South Indian state of #TamilNadu. Constructed in Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is glorified in the Divya Prabandha, the early medieval Tamil canon of the Azhwar saints from the 6th–9th centuries AD. It is counted as one among the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu. Vishnu is worshiped as Soundararaja Perumal and his consort Lakshmi as Soundaravalli. The temple is believed to have been built by the Medieval Cholas of the late 8th century AD, with later contributions at different times from Thanjavur Nayaks. The temple has two inscriptions dating from the Chola period. The temple has a five-tiered rajagopuram (gateway tower) within a granite wall. The complex contains all the shrines and water bodies associated with it. Soundararaja Perumal is believed to have appeared for sage Markandeya, Dhuruva, Saleesan and the Hindu god Bhoomadevi. The temple observes six daily rituals and three yearly festivals. The chariot festival, celebrated during the Tamil month of Chittirai (March–April), is the most prominent festival of the temple. The temple is maintained and administered by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
