The tomb of Fateh Jung (who was one of Shah Jahan’s ministers), is a five-storeyed monument constructed in 1647. It is also known as #FatehJungGumbad and is located near the railway station in #Alwar. It is an imposing structure that is visible from far away. #FatehJung was a Pathan warrior and was related to the Khanzada rulers of Alwar. His tomb is an artistic marvel and is a blend of different styles of architecture. It is dominated by an enormous dome, and the minarets exemplify its beauty. The walls and ceiling have raised plaster reliefs, and fine calligraphic inscriptions can be seen on the first floor. It is a big delight for architecture lovers to see this stunning monument in a lesser known part of Alwar.
