Bhringeswara Temple, #Dhauli, #Odisha. An ancient 12th century #ShivaTemple at the foothills of Dhauli. The Bhringeswara Shiva temple is situated on the foothills of Dhauli, #Bhubaneswar in the village #Khatuapada. The temple is facing towards west and the presiding deity is a circular yoni pitha with a hole at the centre. The temple is made of light grey sandstone. The temple is renovated one from bottom to the top by employing the earlier materials. Dhauli has been always an important landmark for Buddhist, Jainism and ancient Kalingan dynasties for worship which tells the glorious past.
