#Qila-e-Kuhna Mosque at #PuranaQila. A beautiful rendition of Indo- Islamic architectural style, the mosque was built by Sher Shah in 1541. The single domed mosque has pointed arches in the shape of horseshoe seen extensively in the five doorways. Primarily called the ‘Jami Mosque’, the shrine was built for Friday prayers for the king himself and his courtiers.
